Malacca State's Representative On the 10th of July, a Chinese Poetry Recital Competition was held in St David's High School's Hall between the hours of 8.30a.m. to 1.30p.m. The purpose of this competition was to bring out the hidden talents of the students. The winner of this competition was none other than our own Chua Hui Shan of 4Sc1.

PMR students jumping for joy!!! After 5 days of nothing but pressure, Form 3 students of our school got the taste of freedom. After the final paper, screams of joy erupted among students. Students were seen with big smiles on their faces.

During the 2004 mid-year holidays, two students of St. David's High School were involved in a beneficial program organised by the government. They stayed in Japan with a foster family for 2 weeks. There, they learnt the culture and lifestyles of the Japanese. It was an unforgettable experience for them.

Malacca State's Representative Dated 17th of May 2004, a group of young dedicated students who form the school's very own Drama Club made the school proud by bringing back the first place trophy. This competition, which took place in Dewan Bestari Jabatan Pelajar Negeri Melaka was the first drama competition that our school participated in. It was challenging but fun as well.

A unexpected retirement shocks the whole school!! Mrs. Lim Sok Neo, a well-reputated Bahasa Melayu teacher said her final goodbyes on the 15th of July. Her retirement was least expected by her students. Tears were shed this day and the 15th of July has been marked as the saddest day in the year of 2004. Although the students and the teachers were saddened by her leave, they made sure that her last day in school a memorable one.
