I want to break free (and I have)

For many years I lived with a dream to build my own dream place and finally I had. The achievement was satisfying until the reality struck and I was forced to let go all I had built and owned. So, today, I broke everything into pieces. It took hard work and courage to built, but it was harder and took greater courage to break. What a short-lived dream but gratifying. I wanted to break free and I finally had my wish came through today. I am a free man, alas.

Life still goes on…

See Cher at Caesar’s Palace

CherCher is going to perform at Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas this May. Have you got your Cher Tickets at Caesars Palace? Cher joins the exclusive list of stars like Celine Dion and Elton John to perform at Caesar’s Palace. Cher is a Grammy award winner who found fame in 1965 as half of the pop duo Sonny & Cher.

I was introduced to Cher with her first album, All I Really Want To Do (1966) by my friend. Then I was caught by her album, Bittersweet Love Songs (1973). In this album, my favorite songs are By Myself, Am I Blue, What’ll I Do, Long and Winding Road and He’ll Never Know. Among other of her albums I like are I’d Rather Believe In You (1976), Cherished (1977), Black Rose (1980) and Cher (1987).

At that time I was still schooling and had no money to buy audio playback equipment not to mention her records or cassettes. Those records belonged to my friend’s father. After my high school graduation in 1988, my friend and I parted ways and I had no chance to goto his home to listen to her music. I did not buy any of her album until the release of her last album, Living Proof in 2002. That’s her only CD I have in my possession. I like it very much. Her music is very vibrant. Her vocal is clear and crisp. The picture above was Cher during Living Proof: The Farewell Tour. Here is the list of her tracks in Living Proof:

  1. Song for the Lonely
  2. A Different Kind of Love Song
  3. Alive Again
  4. The Music’s No Good Without You
  5. Rain, Rain
  6. Real Love
  7. Love So High
  8. Body to Body, Heart to Heart
  9. Love Is A Lonely Place Without You
  10. Love One Another
  11. When You Walk Away
  12. When The Money’s Gone

You can visit Cher.com to sample her album. Last night, I listened to her album and I felt alive again!

Have you tired of commercial production of music? Would you like to try some music you can’t find in the commercial market?

Here’s one site where you can sample thousands of wonderful musical works of independent bands. This site is dedicated to independent artists and unsigned bands to have their musical works heard everywhere globally on the Internet.

If you would like your musical works to be heard, this is the right place to expose your wonderful music to millions of fans of your own without attaching to any production company. Or if you would like your musical talent to be discover, this is also a perfect place to publish your musical pieces. Who knows you can turn a big Star one day!

I found a few interesting musical works but I particularly like Jazz and Trance genre. I found Aeonia’s work very nice to my taste. Although I don’t usually listen to this type of music, it certainly catches my attention.

The other favorite genre of mine is Ambient and my favorite bands include Beautifully Dead, Carlos Reynosa, and Age of Echoes. These musics are very relaxing and reflective. Perfect of winding down after a hard day or for your Yoga practice.

I also like Carl Hauck’s in the acoustic genre.

I really appreciate these wonderful pieces of musics from unsigned bands. It will be perfect if download is available from this site so that I can bring these music with me in my iPod.

Dmitry has asked me to get him the Crazy Frog Hits album.

Today, he asked for it again. I feel so sorry that I don’t have the time to go shopping because we were busy getting sick from last week until today. I guess that will take another couple of days to have everything stabilized.
