Mission 1: Hong Kong

I arrived in Hong Kong on the night of June 13th. The next day, my friend took me out for a dimsum breakfast nearby his house.

On the way going for breakfast! 😎

In this trip, I had the opportunity to blend in with local community at a Buddhist temple because my friend would be converted to Buddhism. The temple was located at Kongtao Tsuen, Yuanlong (元朗港頭村). It’s a nice place.

I was helping out to pack medicinal pouches at the temple.

After many days of discussions and visitings, my friend took me to Lantau Island (大嶼山) to visit the Big Buddha (大佛). It is one of the many places one must visit when in Hong Kong.

Come on girls! You’re almost there. Thanks to my fitness training. It was easy to climb the flights of stairs.

At the top. Smile! 💪🏻😁👍🏻 A photo posted by Adrian Hoe (@hoeadrian) on

There! I made a wish in front of Buddha to give me strength so that I can overcome challenges in my journey.

Due to busy schedule, I did not have the chance to go for a run on Hong Kong. After the visit to the Big Buddha on Lantau Island, I saw an opportunity in the evening. Although I felt tire, I went for a run. It was my first run on Hong Kong and I really enjoyed it.

It’s time to say goodbye after spending 11 days in Hong Kong.

HKIA has very good service. 😋👍🏻

I arrived at the airport around 22:30 and caught a bus back to Malacca the same night. I reached home at 02:30 the next day.

I didn’t feel tire the next day. Instead, I was happy and satisfied with this trip, a mission well done. As for the new startup we were discussing in Hong Kong, we will see if it will turn out or not.
