Bring along your child’s birth certificate to the school you want to register to. Go to the school office during their office hour. If there is any seat available, they shall be able to register your child. The office will record your child and your details and stamp on the back of your child’s birth certificate.

The school will send a letter to you when your child is ready to enter school at the age of 7.

I agree with you Adrian and I am going to send my kid to national school. My daughter is 5 yo now. How do I register, where and when? Can I register online? Thanks.

That is a lot of students in a class – are they going to be able to get the requisite attention for learning. Nothing wrong with learning Chinese – just make sure the English, Science and Math is top notch and a language is always a plus – in fact in the US, there is a push to teach Chinese besides other European and Latin languages (German, French, Italian and Spanish). What is the form rushing about? I don’t get it.
