Recycle

In my recycling experience, the car battery, or any acid lead batteries fetch high recycling value. So, next time, if your car battery is dead, do not throw away the old one and do not trade in for a new one. Take it to the recycling center instead. They pay more than trade in value.

Do you receive brochures, flyers and other junk mails? Don’t throw them away. Read them, instead. You will learn more valuable information. After reading, put them into recycle bin. A stack of papers is also very heavy and fetches good recycle value. Of course, it is not as high as the batteries.

Really? I have a couple old car batteries in my backyard.

It fetches good price until there are burglary cases stealing batteries from vehicles, especially buses and trucks. These big vehicles use big batteries which are heavier and more expensive. So, make sure you secure your vehicles to avoid becoming a target.

A couple? Go recycle! At least you can get some bucks back.

I sold all the 6 batteries and the recycle center paid me RM109.75 Not bad at all. If I would trade in the old batteries, I could only receive RM10 for a unit. Thanks for the recycling tips.
