Golden triangle is too attractive for Burmese rulers to give in. Buddhism is also responsible for passive resistance (may be this I consider a sort of weakness of good people with Ms.Syuki) in terms of true non violence. Only extreme violence by a benefactor (like a surgeon cutting the cancer tumor) can end malevolent atrocities. Why do you think so called developed nations are not rising their voice and invading the evil empire in Burma (sorry Myanmar)?
It is not just disgrace for those know, it is also exposure of the hypocrisies by so called UN and its members. They will invade African countries, which have nothing to offer, but not Burma.
