Listen to my podcast
Hi! There, I’ve just tagged you!
Hi! Hope all are well and healthy. What’s the plan this CNY?
wow..!! You know something, I wouldn’t dare to, my mum would scold me, but i did tried to explained global warming to my mum.. I even gave her reuseable bags for her shopping, so she doesnt use plastic bags..
My CCA is conservation IG (interest group)
If only more people would listen and help save mother nature..
You know, my school runs the air-con using this water cooling method, no electricity used, according to the newspaper as well. And my school had a whole week lights out day.. after school, everybody have to switch off all the lights even if they’re playing games in class. And all the canteen’s lights are shut off, large areas where lights can shine in, also have their lights turned off. I wish to be an ecologist and help save earth one day. =)
AC not using electricity? You must be joking, right? Water pump needs electricity. Cooling fan needs electricity. Fan needs eletricity. Controller needs electricity. The only different is that it uses water as coolant instead of CFC.
You don’t have to be an ecologist to save earth. No one needs to be an ecologist to save earth. Start with yourself. Recycle plastic, papers, metals, glass and etc… You don’t need to have everyone surrounding you to start save earth. You will never save earth if you want everyone to start. Start with yourself first!
Hmm.. maybe but I know it uses less or no electricity at all, no CFC and the temperature in school cannot be controlled, we literally will freeze to death in school without jackets. I’ll find out more and i’ll update u on it..
Ya, I do recycle everything i use, well er, not toilet paper of course. But plastic bottles and cans, i would bring back to school to throw in the recycle bins, as for glass, don’t use them much also. I even literally use zero plastic bags when i go shopping, or bring one old big plastic bag from home to use outside, everything throw in one bag, hmm seem like some rag and bone old lady.. lolx..
I even went on newspaper because i went for the school’s bring your own bag day, as the assistant leader volunteer, I was interviewed that day. I was very nervous. here’s one of the link that my school is proud of, as the first green campus in Singapore. Used to be the first then other campus catched up, they dun wana miss the green spotlight..

My school is also a paperless school, which means everyone uses a laptop instead of paper, but i heard it’s bad because of radiation, is it true?
Hmm, i still can’t find information about the water air-con thing, perhaps, you could help me and explain to me more?
But I know Singapore our own water also we got re-use, so that everyone has enough water. lolx.. do u dare to drink re-use water? I bath in it, drink it and use it everyday, the government add it into the water supplies.. Singapore quality and standard is important so is health and earth’s health.. =)
